This gizmo is hooked up to a computer that is running audio production software called Ableton Live. The purpose that this thing serves is that it provides you with the actual physical buttons to push so you can control the software (versus having to do it all with a computer mouse) If I get one of these I may quit playing guitar and become a producer/dj.
