new york session work

I’m heading up to Garrison NY for 3 weeks in January to do some session work on Donnie Mortimer’s new musical endeavor.   I met Donnie years ago as he was passing through Florence.  We played some music together and hit it off.  Later he invited me to join him in Nashville to record on his 1st EP.  It was great experience (a group of 8-9 us guys nearly got arrested sneaking onto the roof of the Sheraton).

Anyway, I’ll be flying from Orlando International (where I’ll be over New Years assisting with the production of the CO New Years Conference) into LaGuardia on New Years Day.  I’ll be back in SC around the 21st.

I’m excited about the following:

1. Creating music with a good friend
2. Making a few new friends
3. Visiting New York City
4. Playing and recording through some sweet gear!
5. Taking some pictures
